Grades in reading for 5th grade are earned as follows:
Grade of A:
Read 900 pages from the reading list, write the definitions of 36 words, do oral reports on books you have read and write 3 essays on assigned topics.
Grade of B:
Read 500 pages from the reading list, write the definitions of 20 words, do oral reports on books you have read.
Grade of C:
Read 250 pages from the reading list, write the definitions of 10 words, do oral reports on books you have read.
Requirement for all: Read the biography of a Saint each term.
