Parent Participation Hours
Parent participation is key in helping deliver critical needs for the school as well as building our sense of community. A total of 30 hours are required per family per school year.
- Walk-A-Thon
- Scrip Sales
- Gala
- March Madness
- Hot Lunch Help
- Room Mothers and Classroom Volunteers (sometimes can be done at home)
- Library Help
- Tutoring Students
- Yard Duty
- Help Librarian with Book Fair
- Concession Stands
- Chaperoning field trips
- Hospitality at various events
- Gym helpers (score keeping, gym clean-up, etc.)
Immediate 30 hours commitment completed by:
- Service as a chairperson in School Council
- Service as Mercy Chairperson
- Scrip Sales on Sundays for a minimum of 10 Sundays
- Leader of one of the major fundraisers
- Head Coach of a St. A’s sport
