February 2nd will be our annual open house and Science Fair from 6:30-8:00pm – Students are encouraged to attend.

Float decoration: The float will be assembled off-site before the parade. If interested in helping set up, please contact Kelly Hyatt or Monica Lopez (See St.A’s Telephone Directory for Kelly or Monica’s contact information.)

Saturday, Nov. 26:
4pm: St. A’s Students and families to meet at the “Downtown Holiday Grandstand” in front of ZinsValley Restaurant on First St. (Look for the Blue/Gold balloons for meeting spot) The children will be performing a couple of Christmas songs before the parade.

4:30pm: St. A’s students and families to gather at the St. A’s Holiday Float to assemble for the parade. The float will be located on First St. (Look for the Blue/Gold Balloons)
Call Kelly Hyatt or Monica Lopez if you have trouble finding the group.

* Cheerleaders please be in full uniform with Pom-Poms
* 7th & 8th Grade Basketball Teams: Please wear you’re your uniforms and bring basketballs to the parade
* All St. A’s Students: Dress warm with a sweatshirt/jacket, but please wear your St. A’s Holiday T-shirts over your outerwear. T-shirts should be visible not covered up. Also, wear a Santa hat if you have one.
* Parents: wear your St. A’s Spirit wear or holiday colors and Santa hats too. We would like all our St. A’s families to walk in the parade behind our Float.
* Parents we need your help to supervise all children please check in with Monica Lopez the day of the event for assignment. (Please note, due to safety reasons, younger siblings of St. A’s students will not be allowed on the float unless the parent is assisting as a Parent Supervisor on the float.)

5:00pm: Parade Starts on First St. and will end at the Oxbow Public Market.

* Post parade: Parents, please meet-up with your child at the float. Students will not be able to exit the float without a parent.
* All participants: please remember we are all representing the St. Apollinaris School & Parish Community, so let’s make our Principal & Pastor proud!

The St. A’s Marketing Committee

The book fair is such a fun time for everyone – just ask a student who has participated in the past and they will tell you that it is one of the highlights of the school year.

We are currently in need of volunteers to assist shoppers with choosing and finding books and re-stocking product during the sales.  We are using Volunteerspot again this year to coordinate our volunteers - to choose a time that you can help, simply click on the link below and follow the directions to secure a time that you can help us out.

We also have something Very Exciting for this year’s book fair…  You can now make your purchases online!

Our online book fair will begin on Friday, November 11th and run through Wednesday, November 23rd.  The great thing about the online book fair is that you can send the link to our page to your family and friends who might not be able to attend, they can purchase books and they will be delivered to our school for pickup by you!

So start getting those kiddos excited about book fair!

September 18th was school clean up day. The kindergarten parents met at school armed with brooms, sponges, buckets and power-sprayers. It was a  hot afternoon and everybody sweated as we washed picnic tables, scrubbed the water fountains and benches and swept leaves. How the school shined! A big thank-you goes out to all the parents that worked hard that day.
