What a day we had at the Miwok Cultural Center in Marin County! Our docent was a descendant of the coastal Miwok people and she shared their rich culture with us. We learn about the plants and animals which influenced their lives, as well as viewed many artifacts in their museum. Our favorite activities were playing four traditional children's games and making our own boats out of tule reed. What a treat!
