Welcome to the Accelerated Math page. 

St. Apollinaris Catholic School offers Accelerated Math for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades.

The purpose of Accelerated Math is to have smaller class sizes that address the needs and abilities of the students.

In the Accelerated Math classes, in addition to covering the topics addressed in the Math textbook for that particular grade, the classes review previously learned material; have math contests; math projects that cover mathematicians, math in ancient times, careers in math, etc; and math in the news to see how math is used in everyday life.

Also, this year we will have four computers available for Mathematics online research and students will work on computer programs designed for use with 5th-8th grade mathematics.
