Welcome to the Accelerated Math page. 

St. Apollinaris Catholic School offers Accelerated Math for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Classes for 5th, 6th and 7th are held in the Convent.

The purpose of Accelerated Math is to have smaller class sizes that address the needs and abilities of the students.

In the Accelerated Math classes, in addition to covering the topics addressed in the Math textbook for that particular grade, the classes review previously learned material; have math contests; math projects that cover mathematicians, math in ancient times, careers in math, etc; and math in the news to see how math is used in everyday life
