CLASS of 2009

Welcome to the terrific, the new, 7th grade class!!!  The 2007-2008 school year is going to be one of the most fantastic years ever.  Be ready to be seventh graders and seventh grade will be ready for you.  

The wonderful world of Modern History will open up all matter of mind boggling information.  We learn from the past to live in the present and plan for the future.  This year in history we will cover empires from the fall of Rome, the rise and fall of Muslim, African, Asian and New World powers to more modern times like the European Renaissance. 

Math this year makes the Pre-Algebra transition to eighth grade Algebra.  The year starts with some review of past math facts to demonstrate how they are used in Algebraic operations.  It becomes increasingly necessary to ask questions, maintain the pace established with the daily lessons, and seek additional help from the teacher as necessary. 

P.E. will be a combinition of exercise and sport.  The exercises are designed to stretch and tone the muscles while building up your cardiovacscular rate and endurance.  Fun, fun, fun!
