2006 Geography Bees
Congratulations to our National Geographic Geography Bee Champion: Isabella B., from 5th grade
After 7 rounds of preliminary questions, the field of 31 geography enthusiasts was whittled down to 8 finalists: 8th graders-Dominic D., Joe R., 7th graders: Jack E., Mario G., Alice H., 6th grader: Anna L, and 5th graders: Isabella B., and Gabriel P. move to the next rounds. It took several rounds of challenging questions to crown the two finalists: Alice H. (last year's school champion) and Isabella B. The two young ladies were each given the same three questions, which Isabella answered all correctly. Isabella now goes on to take another exam from National Geographic in hopes of qualifying for the State competition in Sacramento. Good luck, Isabella as you prepare for this challenging test!!
