St. A's students share their thanks...

In the First Grade I learned that fun never ends and you have to pay attention to the teacher. The most important thing is we must be nice. I've learned how to be kind to my friends like Jesus. I've learned how to read, how to write nearly and how to tell time. I will miss first grade.

Joey, Age 7

What I've learned in Second Grade is how to take care of myself. I have learned how to listen better and how to write a friendly letter. I've learned how to use a dictionary and how to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. Thank you.

Brendan, Age 8

Third Grade taught us many things this year. We learned to be "Masters of Our Learning" and to stay alert in class. We learned to be followers of Jesus by taking care of people in need. God has blessed us in our growing this year! Amen

Claire, Age 8

Thank you for guiding me through the school year. I can remember the very first day and now it's close to the end. I've had wonderful adventures during school time. Please guide the next Third Graders who will be coming next year. Amen

Thank you, my God, for the life you have given me and for all the things you do to make me happy in this world. My Fourth Grade teachers work hard to help me learn many inportant things I have to know in my daily life...help me to study hard to please them and especially to please you.

Ali, Age 9

We would like to thank you for a wonderful Sixth Grade year. We were taught mutual respect and  teamwork. We were blessed to be able to help an adopted family and soldiers this year, and learn how to live our faith to the fullest.

Sam, Age 12

We thank you for this wonderful Seventh Grade year you have given us, Lord.

A year of hope, learning, praise, giving and friendship.

There have also been bad times...

Times of wanting respect, sadness for Hurricane victims, frustration with ourselves, and depression for lost loved ones.

It's in times like these, Lord, when we forget about loving you. It's times like these when we think to ourselves, "Why are you doing this to me?! What did I do wrong!?" When the truth is that we should be thanking you for sending us these small hardships because they help us know what to do when the bigger ones come along. So, thank you God for sending us gifrs and difficulties to teach us to be content with our lives no matter what happens...

Sarai, Age 13
