Mr. Jack Kersting has been involved in education, in administration and/or teaching since his undergraduate education in 1975. He attended the University of Notre Dame and the University of Missouri, St. Louis. He received his M.A. in Religious Studies from the Notre Dame Pontifical Catechetical Institute in Virginia and is an official catechist of the Catholic Church. Mr. Kersting was the founder of Trinity Grammar and Prep in Napa, CA. and presided as the Headmaster for twelve years. Mr. Kersting sings professionally and has cantored and sung in church choirs for the last twenty years.

The Kersting family are active members of St. Apollinaris Parish. Mr. Kersting has cantored at St. Apollinaris Church for the past seven years. He and his wife Jennifer celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary in July. They have eight children, all of whom are girls except the first seven.
