St. Apollinaris Girls Basketball – 5th & 6th Grade Titles

6th GRADE GIRLS:

The St. Apollinaris 6th Grade Girls Basketball Team just finished their Championship Season with a hard fought 20-19 OT victory over St. Francis of Sonoma.  It was a total team defensive effort to hold a very good offensive team to just 19 points with Kayla deLeuze, Kendall Martin and Hannah Chau being the defensive standouts.  Ally Jackson and Alicia Prince played great at both end of the floor while Katie Stillwell pulled in some key rebounds.   The team was lead on offense by Emmy Morrison with 9 pts, Carlyn Bacci with 6, Kendall Martin with 3 and Rebecca Reynolds with 2.  The team finished league play in first place with a record of 7-1 and then went 3-0 in the North Bay Catholic School League Tournament to win both titles.
